The third schedule will be held in the Middle East together with other professions, atRiyadh (KSA), Jeddah (KSA), Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Doha (Qatar). Though there is no final date yet, just bear in mind that it is usually falls during the Muslim holiday, Eid Al Adha which is in year 2014 it could be within October 4 to 7 according to a Muslim calendar source. Again, this is just a tentative date and the final schedule will be announced in due time by the PRC and the Professional Regulatory Board of Architecture (PRBoA) and will also be posted in this site.

Be sure to file the application as early as possible and don’t wait for the deadline, because under worst circumstance it could even take you 5 days to file in PRC. Be ready with the necessary documents, your Transcript of Grades should be authenticated and don’t forget your Logbook of diversified experience. You are lucky if you are reviewing in a review center because they will help you with these stuffs. If you are on your own, seek help for those who've done this before, especially for those who passed, they are kind of generous.

5 Famous tips from board passers.

  • Review and review!
  • Think like an architect or shall we say, put yourself in the architect’s shoes when you answer.
  • Learn the take away method (omitting the less relevant answer); use this as a last sort.
  • During the exam, mark your answer in the questionnaire first, review it over & over till you will satisfy. Then transfer your answers to the answer sheets once it’s final. This is to avoid erasure to the answer sheets and to give you a chance to review and change your answer when needed.
  • Don’t forget to pray, including that may the examiners give the questions related to what you are reviewing.

Good Luck and all the best Architects!
